Summer Breeze - Out Now

After months of work, emotions, memories and nights spent creating, I'm finally ready to introduce you to Summer Breeze, my fourth studio album as Neon Wolf.

Every album I've released so far represents a part of my journey. Every project starts from an idea, an emotion or an image that, at some point, I feel the need to turn into music. Over the years I've told stories of imaginary worlds, nocturnal atmospheres, mental journeys, dreams and passions that have built the identity of Neon Wolf.

But this time is different.

With Summer Breeze I felt the need to open a door that had stayed closed for a long time: the one to my origins.

For years I let only my songs speak for me. I spoke through melodies, synthesizers and atmospheres, letting every listener imagine their own meaning behind the music. I told personal emotions, but often without really showing where they came from. It was easier that way. Safer, maybe. Hiding behind a synth sound is simple, when that sound can mean everything and nothing at the same time.

But behind many of these feelings, there is a precise place.

There is the sea.

There are the streets of my land, the ones I know by heart, the ones where I spent entire afternoons with no real destination.

There are those sunsets I watched so many times from a car window, the salt still on my skin after an afternoon at the beach, and those apparently simple moments that, as the years passed, took on an enormous value.

Summer Breeze is born from exactly this: the desire to turn into music those memories that are part of my story, even before they became songs.

The fourteen tracks that make up this album are a journey through summer, nostalgia, freedom and that unique feeling you get when a moment seems like it could last forever. They are images turned into sound: days spent by the sea, evenings with friends, walks with no real destination, the wind on your skin, the lights of an arcade reflecting on wet asphalt, and that particular atmosphere only certain summers can give you. It's an album that looks at the past, but without staying trapped in it.

The synthwave and synth-pop sounds that have always accompanied Neon Wolf meet nostalgic melodies and brighter moments, creating a soundtrack dedicated to all those memories that keep living inside us. The inspiration comes from the music and aesthetic of the eighties and nineties, but above all from the emotions those eras represent: discovery, adventure, carefree living and the desire to dream.

For a long time I struggled to openly show the bond with the place I come from. Maybe because I was afraid that revealing my origins could limit the world of Neon Wolf, closing it into a single place when for me it's always been a space without borders. Today, instead, I think exactly the opposite.

My roots are not a limit.

They are the point where everything began.

Cagliari, the sea and the landscape that has been with me since I was young are an integral part of my music, even when they weren't openly stated. They are present in the atmospheres, in the colors and in the feelings I try to convey through every track. They are in the way certain notes seem to warm up, like asphalt under the August sun.

With this album I finally want to share that part of my story too. Not just the music, but also the places, the images and the emotions that helped create it, including the more fragile ones, the ones I usually prefer to keep to myself.

Summer Breeze is therefore a personal journey: a way to show listeners not only what I listen to, but also what I see, what I remember and what has inspired me.

While making this album I tried to keep the essence of Neon Wolf intact: that fusion between the human side and the digital one, between nostalgia and the future, between real memories and imaginary worlds. The mask, the wolf symbol and the futuristic aesthetic are still part of the project, but this time there is something even more personal behind them.

There is a real story.

There is a real place.

There is a real emotion.

As always, I worked independently, following every stage of production and taking care of every detail to turn a simple idea into a complete experience. From composition to production, from the choice of sounds to the making of the physical edition, every element of Summer Breeze comes from my vision and my desire to create something that can last.

There's also a small irony behind the birth of this album.

As a kid I used to wait for summer impatiently. The sea, the longer days, time spent outdoors and that feeling of freedom that only the warm season could give were an important part of my life. Summer felt almost like an appointment you waited for all year.

Today, instead, I've become someone who loves the cold much more, the atmosphere of winter, quieter days and that particular sense of introspection this season brings with it. It's strange, sometimes, to write about something I no longer chase with the same urgency as before.

And yet that didn't stop me from making a summer album.

If anything, maybe it was the opposite.

It was nostalgia that lit the spark of inspiration. The desire to go back in my mind to those moments, to relive those feelings even just for the length of a song, and to turn those memories into music, gave life to Summer Breeze. Because sometimes we don't need to live something in the present to still feel its value. Some emotions stay inside us, quiet, waiting only for the right moment to resurface.

This album is also a thank you to everyone who has followed Neon Wolf from the beginning. To everyone who has listened to a song, bought a CD, shared a track, or simply dedicated a few minutes of their day to my music.

Every small bit of support has meant an enormous amount and has allowed me to keep going on this path, even in the moments when I doubted I deserved it.

With Summer Breeze I don't just want to release a new album.

I want to share a piece of my life.

I want to show you the place where some of my dreams were born.

I want to bring you with me into those summers made of sea, wind, friendships, promises and memories that still live on today, even when the season that created them is now far away.
